Sony Ericsson P990i : your 3G workstation

Following the overwhelming success of the PDA styled smartphone Sony Ericsson P910i, the mobile phone manufacturing giant have launched the Sony Ericsson P990i. The new model features many upgraded functionalities and is in tune with the latest in the mobile technology including 3G.

The Sony Ericsson P990i retains the huge screen featured in the earlier model. The touchscreen 256k colour display produces high definition image that do not fade even in bright outdoors. The device has dual keypad. The numeric keypad can be flip opened to reveal the QWERTY styled keypad. Other than the touchscreen and regular keys, the jog-dial control gives another dimension for navigation through the Symbian Operating System v9.1. Another very popular feature included in the Sony Ericsson P990i is Handwriting Recognition.

are loaded with all sorts of Office application to assist you to finish your work on the go. 3G technology of the device allows you to make and receive video calls through its VGA camera. A virtually inexhaustible phone book where you can save up to eight numbers per contact synchronize easily with SyncML 1.2 via Bluetooth v2.0, WiFi or a more 'traditional' USB. In absence of 3G network, you can fall back to class 10 GPRS for your data connectivity needs. Managing your professional and personal emails or simply searching the cyber world with the built in Opera 8.0 browser – you'll never have to look beyond the Sony Ericsson P990i.



The primary camera module is 2.0 megapixel and is endowed with all advanced features of any camera centric phone like digital zoom, integrated flash, autofocus and picture effects. Video recording capabilities is just another aspect of the Sony Ericsson P990i. After all the hard work, the Sony Ericsson P990i also have provision to entertain you through its Mp3/AAC player, FM radio and a host of downloadable Java games.
